Yea, I would lean toward all three coming true. But as I said last night, I think Iris is probably the safest character at this point. Or maybe it's still her but in a different way. Or maybe she gets fate worse than death.

    Good thing Flash =/= Community.

It's getting closer to Harry Potter more than anything haha

I wish Eddie had come back as a result of Flashpoint.

Also, as a result of changing the past in the second season, isn't Pied Piper supposed to be a frequent collaborator with the team? Whatever happened to that?

I heard a theory he might be Savatar. The way he talked last night I don't think it's true. But it could happen.

Anyone else wondering if the money they paid Mark Hamill for the brief appearance would've been better spent on the Savitar/Jay CGI scene? I didn't see the point in bringing him back if it wasn't going to be for something a bit more exciting I guess.

All their CG shots like that are pretty awful. Not sure it would have made a difference.

I guess I just noticed more with this scene than I necessarily did the first time Savitar showed up. But I still wonder how much Mark Hamill got for this considering the insane amount he got for TFA to be in it equally as long haha. Obviously very different budgets, but would be interesting to see.

Philosophers stone, evil with mask wearing followers that ha the same powers as the hero and views him as a threat, cloudy prophecies, LITERALLY malfoy...when did this show become a Harry Potter remake

  10. Philosopher's stone on Flash, equivalent exchange on SHIELD, sounds more like a cross-franchise Fullmetal Alchemist remake to me.

Supergirl has supplanted The Flash for my favorite current DC show, though I do still like Flash more than I liked Arrow post-S2 before dropping it.

I for one thought last night was a great episode. heart, optimism, character growth. I don't know how to do the spoiler hide thing so I don't want to say much more. really liked it though.

I haven't watched the new episode yet, but next weeks' episode looks interesting.

Easy, just do [ spoiler]Test[/spoiler ] like that without the spaces, and then

    That "]Test[" becomes

Do they really think they can mess with time and get away with it without consequences? Has Barry learned nothing?

oh come on. would you really just sit there and do nothing if you all knew that in the future you'd lose someone in a specific way? no, if you and your friends had these abilities you'd try to save them.

That's not the point. The show has repeatedly shown us that messing with time has severe negative consequences. At some point, the characters have to learn that lesson and stop doing it.

I don't know why the writers keep taking this path.

Maybe, despite enjoying a lot of the show, I have grown tired of an evil speedster being the big bad every season, Barry consistently time traveling to do something entirely selfish (even if I do emotionally understand why), and there being negative consequences for those actions.

i'll certainly agree with the speedster stuff, I'm thoroughly enjoying this season, but most of that enjoyment is a result of everything else besides savitar. I don't like the look of him or the cgi of him, his battles are bad. thankfully this season has him as the big bad but there's been a lot of focus on random villains that keep the individual stories fun and interesting. I really hope season 4 the "big bad" is the rogues. I was at least excited last night that the trip to the future wasn't time travel, it was using vibe to learn about the future events to try and save Iris. they don't know if it will work, but they have to try. the writers do need to learn going forward that you don't need a character's death to push characters forward every time . so yeah I'm not saying it's flawless, but I have no problem with this storyline because at least he's not being a lone wolf about it and keeping secrets.

  25. I liked this episode and what they've set up. I couldn't believe that Plunder dude kept giving them the jump, though lol. Next week's ep looks lighter.
