  3. That ep was pretty fun. Loved seeing Flash/Arrow vs everyone else. I actually like that idea a lot more than all of them fighting random aliens.

Regardless of the crossover, man, Grant Gustin is just so damn talented at bringing a real sense of feels to the table. Swear to god every time you hear his voice crack it makes me tear up.

Speaking of Jesse L Martin, according to his imdb page he's gonna be playing Marvin Gaye in a biopic. Hell yes.

Loved the crossover. (Gonna post about it in here 'cause Supergirl was barely part of it, and 'cause I still don't watch Legends or Arrow.) It wasn't perfect, but man, it was fun in just the right ways at just the right times. It was nice seeing Sara, Ollie, Felicity, and Diggle again. Sucks that Martian Manhunter didn't get recruited, but I get why. I wanted to see Supergirl hang out with Sara and Felicity more, but oh well. The Dominators were really cool. The different character plots all intertwined surprisingly effectively. Hopefully next crossover there's more time set aside for everyone to just chill; that was the best part of last year's otherwise lame crossover.

As for non-crossover Flash... Killer Frost is so fabulous and I love her so much. I would HATE to lose Caitlin, but also want more Killer Frost in my life. Savitar looks really cool, which has me overlooking there being yet another big speedster villain for now. Hopefully they stick this landing better than Zoom...

Wally has really emerged as my favorite character. Him and Joe go one-two for me.

Really love H.R. and Cisco too. It's odd to me that the main character, and our hero, probably isn't in my top 5. Really hoping the writers start tweaking Barry and his insane character choices.

The worst part of the crossover for me was when Barry was gonna go sacrifice himself but Iris, Joe, and Wally weren't around. As if he would go without saying goodbye to them first!

    Prophecy Predictidtion Time:
    Betrayer: HR
    Death: Joe (to save Iris)
Fate Worse than Death aka Lost in Speedforce: Jay

I think it could be cool if Barry lost himself to the speedforce though and Wally takes over. It would line up with Justice League and allow them to have the different Flashes.

You think that a second Wells is gonna be a betrayer? Especially one this goofy? It's possible, but I kinda doubt it. I'm thinking Caitlin, even if that is the obvious choice. If that's too obvious, maybe the plot twist will be Sisco. Either way, I'm thinking Sisco's vibe from that prior episode of them two fighting comes true.

Agree that Joe's the most likely candidate to die, though I really, REALLY don't want him to... He's the literal best.

I'd love to see Barry get lost in the Speedforce for a long time. Like, to the point where he's not in at least the first half of S4. They really pulled their punch with Ollie "dying" in Arrow S3, and again with Flashpoint (though that worked well for this season narratively speaking), so I can't imagine them pulling the trigger on that. But, it would be a pretty awesome creative risk.

If Caitlin isn't the traitor, she could be the "fate worse than death" by using her powers to help Team Flash, but then irreversibly becoming Killer Frost in the aftermath. That's the mostly likely option, actually, now that I think about it, which makes me think Sisco will be the traitor.

Wait, didn't his vibe of them fighting already happen? I thought it happened in the Killer Frost episode.

As for the prophecy, Iris is probably now the safest character from death. You know they wouldn't show us it tonight and then just have it still happen in "5 months". Unless they have her die in a completely different way. But to keep it basic, for now, i would assume she is safe.

I probably would not include Jay in this since he is not around a lot, but his involvement would be dramatic for Barry. So who knows?

I think your guess for Kaitlen/Killer Frost makes total sense and has a good chance of being true.

I could see Sisco being the traitor. Things have been rocky with him and Barry, so it would make sense given the proper situation for him to do so.

I think they made a big deal about clearing HR as a good guy so it would be surprising twist. The Cisco call is really good though and fits well with a misinterpretation of his vibe fighting Frost.

I agree Joe is the best and I don't want it to happen but they've already introduced Face Changing technology and haven't done anything with it besides letting HR go to the movies so I think he's done but the scene will be so heartbreaking where he says goodbye and it will be very special I think.

I totally agree with you about Wally becoming Flash. I imagine Barry being his guide like Obi-Wan to Luke at the end of A New Hope telling him how to be better and be the father figure he would be missing if we're right about the above. Your Caitlin idea is great but I don't think they'd get rid of both her and Cisco so it's either a huge redemption arc after the betrayal or just one of the two fits the bill of the prophecy.

I'd have to rewatch, but I feel like the vibed fight looked different from their encounter in that episode? I seem to recall thinking afterwards that they set up for the two to fight again, but I could be wrong. And, yeah, I wouldn't put it past them to include Jay in that, but I definitely lean towards him not being one of the three.

It'd be really interesting if they dramatically changed the main cast next season. Lose Joe, (temporarily) Barry, and either Sisco or Caitlin. Bring back Linda Park as a main cast member and romantic interest for Wally. Almost turn it into a new Flash series. I love this cast and really don't want that to happen, and I'm also skeptical that it would, but it'd certainly be interesting.

I kind of assume Barry is safe, to be honest. The three prophecies will impact him. He will be betrayed, lose someone he loves, and someone he cares for will have an awful fate. Which will give him even more guilt. Mopey Barry FTW?

Man I actually teared up when Barry showed Iris his gift. If she actually gets killed off I will be so pissed.

Of course we have to consider how true the prophecies are. Does what Savatar say have to come to pass? Or is Jay right, that what Barry saw was merely one possible future, but not necessarily THE future. We have already seen how choices and differing actions have altered the fate of many.

If he saw it happen, it happened. Its the same concept as Flashpoint. He witnessed it, therefore it exists. He is now going back in time to influence the present in a different way.

What I see happening is that Barry is going to learn from what happened with Flashpoint and try not to alter what he knows is supposed to happen in fear of the repercussions.

On the same note, it does imply that the future can be changed.

Time travel is a strange and confusing monster.

I'm not debating whether it exists, but rather that it is not necessarily the future for this Barry. Once could argue within this universe there could be a timeline where each member of team Flash dies. But that's a silly way to view it in a dramatic way since it would decrease tension, rather than increase it which is the entire point of the prophecies.

We focus on Barry and where he is and what timeline he is in. What he saw may not be this particular Barry's future. This current timeline and future is what "matters". In that context, these prophecies may not come true. Or maybe they will in different ways. We just don't know yet.

We have seen timelines wiped from existence, or at least been unable to be returned to. Saying something exists is tricky. We have seen Barry erase himself from a moment before. We have literally seen him fade away due to a new action taking place. Just because we see it once, doesn't mean it still exists.

Anything that involves moving or seeing through time is inherently messy, but from a narrative perspective, I feel like the death/betrayal/"fate worse than death" probably will come to pass, even if it's different people. Like, maybe they'll say that there are aspects of the timeline that are absolutes or whatever. I'd be alright with that.
