I love Willa Holland and I like what they've done with Thea for the most part. But I feel like since she and Oliver found their peace with all the secrets he kept from her and since Roy/Colton Haynes is gone they aren't completely sure what to do with her. I felt like the relationship with Olivier's campaign manager came out of nowhere and was completely forced and unnecessary
It kind of feels like they're letting Arrow keep going for the sake of crossovers, they've fucked up pretty much every character arc. I really hate that John Barrowman and Donal Logue are doing Arrow and Gotham, they're so much better than what they're given.
I thought for sure he would die this season. And yet, here we are. Roy leaving hurt the show a lot more than I thought it would at the time.
Usually season 1 sucks and two gets better. Ummmm this was so bad it makes me angry. Holy shit what a disaster.
I was wondering what your thoughts on this were Jason. Haven't seen you in this thread or the 100 thread in a while. What are your thoughts on The 100's third season?
Demon Dean only lasted a handful of episodes. Still thought the Mark and Cain made for a good season.
Was griping witha coworker the other day about this. Man, I wish Demon Dean lasted much longer. Was a bummer it was so short.
I'm really far behind in all the shows after the website move, I just basically didn't watch anything for a while, but now I have some time. I just finished Flash last night, so next is to tackle the 100. Which a lot of people have said bad things about, but I'm trying not to let that affect my thoughts going in. Eh. I dunno, I was one of the few that didn't like that DC line. It's too much, like it just gets to be so far out there that it's basically just Doctor Who. Almost too fantastical — which is funny for a comic book, but still, I like smaller scale, tight stories.
This happened to me last night when I finally caught up on the past month and a half of Flash. I wasn't happy. I was behind in Arrow too, and now that I know this spoiler it kind of kills my desire to go back and watch everything I missed.
As absolutely stupid as a lot of stuff in this season was (ok im gonna make a time remnant, that can get killed, even though would require either past me to go to the future and die, or future me to go to the past and die, and neither of those things happen, also apparently time wraiths come when u make a remnant, except when zoom did it like 6 times, and also the speed force controls them, and it likes me and hates zoom, but it only sent them when i did it, yeah) it was really enjoyable imo. I tend to give a lot of leeway with convoluted comic storylines but this pushed it...but whatever. At least it wasn't Arrow. Iris was criminally underused. Acting and dialogue got really CW-y at times. But idk, maybe my expectations are lower by default, but I'm okay with a CW comic book show getting pretty CW-y and comic book-y. And anytime it started to bother me I would just think "at least it's not Arrow" or "at least virtually any of these characters are enjoyable."
It would be pretty cool if we got some Elseworld/Flashpoint stories out of this to start the season. You know they are going to retcon the Flashpoint stuff pretty quick to get back in line with all of the other Bert-verse shows.
Looking back on it most of this season was pointless especially with how this season ended. Kinda sad. Still enjoyed a lot of parts, but man. Still bitter about that finale. I don't know what CW's deal is sometimes. They either kill it with their shows, or they fall flat on their face. Arrow's just a chore to watch anymore. This season of Flash had some good moments, but also some as bad as Arrow is. Haven't watched Legends still. Supernatural I'm still behind on. The 100 is the only consistently good one left. Don't watch any others, though.
Supernatural was very good in the last five or six episodes of this season. The 100's third season got a very mixed reaction on both here and other websites. I still enjoyed it but nowhere near as much as season 2 I will also agree with the others that izombie is very well done
Interesting. Hopefully it'll be pretty boss. 3 seasons about changing the past could probably and mostly become pretty tiresome. I do like how they spin things on the show tho.. So I'm optimistic and suchery.
