@Zilla are you able to comment on whether or not there is a really gross deepfake cameo of a dead actor? There was talk of that recently that grossed me out; hope it was actually just archive footage (or bullshit) instead of deepfake.
In the context of it, it didn’t really gross me out. It came off to me as archival footage like with Leia in “Rogue One.” I think the most offensive part is the CGI for it is atrocious.
Oh yeah. You’re right. It’s like a CGI rendering with his face on a CG body. I don’t recall him saying anything. He’s literally there for like 15 seconds. It’s not like he’s an actual character. It’s a cameo as it explores the other realities intersecting.
i want to assume you’re right, seeing as there are already reviews out there. but it’s also screening again on tuesdayish
this has its ups and downs but i guess i lean towards liking it. could’ve been a lot better without it being cameo city at multiple points, or if it lost 20 minutes give or take. ezra is solid but it’s not like they’re the only one who could pull this character off. keaton and calle are great too, with a nice showcase for the latter it’s maybe better than i’m suggesting since i’ve seen this pretty much right after having watched across the spider verse multiple times, which does some similar things much more seamlessly, so there’s definitely a certain amount of wind being taken out of its sales. but it’s still pretty good, just not without some of the bullshit you’d find in a few too many of todays blockbusters
To be fair, in the article he calls "The Flash" a "sophisticated story", but it wasn't "his story". It sounds like he's more down about his role in the movie not having much meat to it and not the movie as a whole.
I heard about the scene where Michael Keaton Batman 9/11's a Kryptonian spaceship with the Batplane and oh my god lol
I can’t wait to see what the people that talked shit on Ant-man’s CGI (it was bad) will have to say about this movie. I watched some leaks and the CGI is Scorpion King in The Mummy 2 levels of bad.
