This rules. Absolutely loved it. The cgi didn’t bother me because it just looked cartoonish not just laughably bad.

 

My main gripe was when both Barry’s entered a room together I swear young barry looked soooooo fake

 

yeah that was bad but this also filmed in real locations so it didn’t bother me as much as the last ant mans.

 

In the opening scene, they should have just went the Clint Eastwood approach and used baby dolls like in American Sniper. Would have looked just as ridiculous as the final cut but cost way less.

 

The beginning to this was awful (pre-flashback) and it was rough at parts. Thought a lot of the tone and most of the humor fell flat at times. Had some moments, though, and all the points for Batman.

Really don’t have high hopes for his Batman film.

 

Yeah I love IT part 1, hated part 2 and thought this was mostly stellar so I have no Fuckin clue what to expect haha

 

God, IT 2 was abysmal, still blows my mind how bad that was and that it was the same team.

 

Our local theater will do weekly nostalgic movie screenings. It really says a lot that they recently showed It: Chapter One and didn’t bother with the second.

 

Don’t forget Cary Fukunaga wrote Chapter 1 and not Chapter 2. Fuck him but that’s probably why Chapter 1 was so good

 

Definitely some odd directing choices too, though. Like that stupid as fuck needle drop.

 

Just sat down for this. I’ve already seen the worst of the CGI from leaks so I’m trying to be cautiously optimistic that I’ll enjoy it despite that

I did actually enjoy this. It has a lot of issues but it was fun overall

Worst movie I’ve seen this year. I did not enjoy this at all.

The CGI was kinda bad in certain parts and I never complain about CGI

 

Only a $55 million domestic weekend. That’s extremely low

 

Wow. Did not expect it to miss that bad.

 

Eh. Almost no goodwill with DC at the moment. The people super online are mostly out on Ezra. I totally thought Keaton would help but I think the DC brand is just too toxic at the moment

 

This was solid. Definitely could have done without the cameo-fest but whatever.

 

I think the Nic Cage one especially. My fiancé had no idea why that was there.
