Hhahahaha. That's a good analogy. Thank you though. I spent years working on so many little things there, and on these forums, it just feels amazing to to read any compliments about them after having what most people knew my last design work as ... as AbsolutePunk. Hah.
I debated not posting some of them because of how bad/embarrassed I was — even the ones I know people like. But I decided to publish most of the "big" ones anyway. Oh god some are just painful though.
I had a moment when reading Jason's long post when I read the words about buying back AP.net, and it felt like some incredible moment in a movie just happened where everything fell back into place and all was "right" again. A success story.
As a semi-lurker on AP.net for a while, I'm excited to see what the future holds for you Jason and this site. Hope it continues on for a long time as I get older and continue on semi-lurking.
i don't love the font but a nice looking one of these is going to be awesome to have, haha. also a very good selection of stuff
Fun fact on mobile my Chorus name cannot be copy-pasted to AP. I am a living billboard for this site's technological prowess.
I joined AP.net in 2010, and since that time I have discoverted some of my new favorite bands abnd have connected with people worldwide that I now talk to on a regular basis. If it wasn't for AP I also might not have known about some awesome concerts and tours since it was my main source of a lot of that information. I'm excited for what the future holds with this site, and look forward to watching it grow. Thanks for everything, AP
For a post in another thread I looked up when I joined AP: September, 2003. I haven't posted regularly in years, but the changes have brought back memories of that period of music discovery, and I'm glad AP was around to help. This new venture is a pretty substantial overhaul and (obviously) far more aesthetically pleasing and user friendly.
I just moved from Arlington Texas to Nashville Tennessee, yet somehow the move from AbsolutePunk to Chorus feels like the bigger one
Best part is both servers are handling the load. And Chorus is loading just as fast as ever even under a lot of people visiting.
