Really excited for the future with these forums. Just the visual facelift is alright much, much better than AP.net's outdated look. Can't help but feel a little nostalgic. Gonna try to find my first post now.
Fastest Fingers: Mercy Mercedes & The Dangerous Summer Tour fuck i forgot about this they ended up cancelling this show and i was so sad, never got to see between the trees or mercy mercedes :(
huh... apparently I posted a decent amount in the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics thread when I first started.
this is the earliest post i could find of myself on ap (it's the first time I was quoted apparently), talking about Anberlin - Cities haha. Anberlin - Cities [Album Review]
The earliest post I can find is not what I thought it would be. In regards to Suicide Silence posting a lyrics video for Fuck Everything: "Lyrics are awful, but I don't care. Still looking forward to their new album. I don't really listen to Suicide Silence for the lyrics anyways." Also i joined a couple years before my first post? Didn't know I lurked that hard for that long. Figured my first post would've been about The Wonder Years.
Joined the site in 2006 and checked it non stop. Found most of my current and all time favorites from AP. Thanks, Jason. Will be here along for the new ride (and drooling in anticipation for Goodness and for any minor activity brand new does to make us all freak out!)! - FUCKDIRTYWIPES
It's going to happen. I'm trying, @Jason Tate threatened to fire me. I responded with a video of the Springsteen song "Fire."
My first.. let's say... confrontation was with PaperRival-Jake on a Metro Station news post. He was mad that I mixed up "their" and "there." What a goof.
Really glad I found this before AP is no more later today. Lurked for a bit before joining in June of 2010. 6,580 posts later I can't begin to describe the gratitude for the bands that AP introduced me to (Caspian, the Menz, Pup, US Royalty, PM Today, to name a few). The progression of most of the site in regards to social issues has been great to see as well and coincided with my time in undergrad I was developing my own critical approach towards my studies as well. Was in between my junior and senior year of high school when I joined and now I'm getting my MA, but nevertheless really stoked for what's ahead for Chorus in the future. Thanks a million to Jason, Drew, and all the other staff members who have worked so hard on this over the years and will continue to do so.
