It's a bunch of albums by these artists: I think I posted about most of them before, I just tossed them all in a playlist for the first time.
The Grace VanderWall album is really solid, I mean really incredible for her age, but also great as a standalone age-aside. She's got long term potential for sure
I really wish Moon Honey would gain some more traction. Every time I see them play I am just blown away that they aren't huge. In my opinion, their recordings don't come close to truly capturing their sound and are best experienced in a live setting. I highly suggest seeing them if possible and you will have, if anything, a very unique experience. They play a lot at The Echo in L.A. I know for sure they have a show on the 14th of December at the Teragram Ballroom and I will definitely try and be there. Unfortunately, these tracks are a few years old and not wholly representative of what they are paying live nowadays, but hopefully their new album will be out soon. Great musicians, and just fantastic people all around. RIYL: Jimi Hendrix, David Bowie, old school Disney tunes
I've been listening to a lot of Hemming lately, after she recently dropped a new single that blew my mind. The Audiotree sessions she did are particularly phenomenal.
Super late but @Jason Tate I finally got around to listening to the latest Allie X album after seeing you praise it and god damn this is pretty much exactly what I look for in a pop record
