Wouldn't this be the follow up to "Killing of a Sacred Deer"?

 

Whoops, yeah that’s what I meant.

 

No problem. I just didn't know if maybe he filmed this in between or something, but it wasn't getting released until now.

 

This seems pretty different for him, I hope he's still able to bring his weird, creeping dread into what seems like a straight biopic

 

Yeah, will be interesting to see his twist on this. Definitely the least excited I've been for a Lanthimos film based on plot alone but who knows!

Rachel Emma Olivia and Nicholas were all great and this was really fun

 

Saw this again, so in love with it. Easily up there as one of my favorites of the year.

 

Found this pretty slow to start, but once it established its characters and their dynamics, it’s kind of a blast. Might be my favorite of Lanthimos’ English language films, at least better than The Killing of a Sacred Deer.
