Season three was so good. Elayne singing the Hills of Tanchico captured all the magic of the characters.
While I’m apparently being negative I will add that I have feel like I have put more work into trying to like the Expanse more than any other series. I think I got to book 5 or 6 but it just never clicked and i hate that because everyone else loves it. I did like the show though
Reading House of Chains and I forgot my baby boys who have never done anything wrong in their lives, Onrack and Trull Sengar, are in this book.
I feel that way about wheel of time. By the 9th book I thought why was I reading this. But powered through.
How dare you speak ill of Sand dan Glokta. The man is missing like half of his teeth!! I love Trull so much. Just finished the Midnight Tides reread and his arc rules from start to finish
I started reading the book when it first came out and it never really clicked. I found that I didn’t really care for any of the characters and the story wasn’t really doing it for me. I was pretty lukewarm on the first book, it felt like it was a slog to finish. I’ve picked up the second one because the story was okay, but I don’t know if I’ll actually read it…
snagged this from my home library on a whim based on the cover & description, even though I already have 2 books taken out that I'm working on
I want to check this out but it’s $26 for the kindle version (I predominately read on kindle). Might have to see if the library has it…
Finished Riftwar. Not bad, not great. Of the classic fantasy series I've been checking off my list, it's definitely below Memory, Sorrow, Thorn and Farseer. Time for the Empire trilogy!
I took a break from the expanse after book 4 and never went back. Still curious about it but it's been so long now I'm not sure I'll ever get around to it.
Finished We Burned So Bright. Only sort of sci-fi, but it was really good. Starting Japanese Gothic, last book from library before I start Isako finally lol
