Okay actual last call, I'll start making assignments tomorrow.

DM me your updated addresses if I need them, and any relevant information you may want to give.

Pretty sure you have my updated address from when you sent me the SIGNED version of The Servant which is proudly displayed on my top shelf in between my Field Guide of Texas Birds and History of LEGO Minifigures

Man - I am frustrated with my lack of motivation to find time to read and how far it's put me behind. Between work and personal struggles with motivation and enjoyment in general, I have really fallen off.

I'm at 75% of book 7 DCC and that was supposed to be done so I could re read 2 books for the big release this month.

Also, I am sure this is contrarian but I have struggled a bit with DCC 7 in general, and so far, the streak of it getting stronger with every release may end here. It's not bad, just not my favorite of the series. I'm sure there will be some great twists and I'm enjoying it a lot, but just not as much as some of the prior entries. I could just be burned out as tends to happen when binging a series. Just a quarter left then I'm all caught up.

For anyone who DIDN'T reread will of the many and instead relied on memory and the official recap, is that a bad idea? Lol.

Suneater 7 arrives tomorrow and I feel like I have to reread at least 6 or the end of the series will be robbed of its intended impact due to lack of recall.

I would've been so lost without my re-read, but a good recap could do the trick, tbh.

I'm next in line for Brigands and Suneater 7 at the library. Still reading Strength, though.

I'm maybe 40% through Strength. 300 pages into Dragonbone Chair. And listening to an audiobook called Memories of Tomorrow by a fellow indie author Noah Isaacs

I listened to a lot of Shadows upon Time today. Very good so far. Ruocchio's writing leveled up again.

I'm the one person who Will of the Many didn't blow the socks off of. We'll see if I find time for the second one (I'm sure I will eventually, but for now I'm trying to finish Dark Age and Lightbringer from the Red Rising series and Shadows Upon Time from Suneater all before December 3rd when I leave for Dragonsteel Nexus.

Will is a perfectly fine middle of the road read. Strength is shaping up to be much better.

Shadows Upon Time is banging about 25% in. Really love what he's doing from a narrative perspective in this first section.

Nice. Glad to hear people are enjoying it. I still think I'll do Disquiet Gods reread and Suneater 7 next BEFORE strength of the few.

My book should arrive very soon! and I can complete the collection (I repurchased 6 in the new hardcover to match).

I have the Broken Binding editions which I'll be sticking with personally. I don't have enough shelves for all the different special editions.

good news is I don't have space for LEGO anymore so I don't buy it. it'll forever be the batmobiles, batwing, falcon, at-at.

but yes, the book hobby 100% is incredibly expensive lmao. I don't really spend my money on much else anymore so it could be worse... right?

I remember my older brother getting mad when we were younger because I liked to read books and he didn't and my dad would buy me books a lot of the time that I wanted to read because they were books

I was raised by Calvin & Hobbes. I still quote it regularly.

My mom used to get so mad when I would burp really loud and say 'must be a barge coming through!'

That’s Dad snoring? I thought it was trucks downshifting on the highway.

At age 8 I had the whole monster under the bed poem memorized. The “throbbing, pulsing ventricles, mucus-oozing pores and frightful claws!” one.
