I just finished Splinterleaf & Hollowfrost the other night and it was just as great as the first two! incredible stuff I love spending time in this world and with these characters I can't wait to dive into Woodfire & Lakelight - it was nice of you to almost release it on my birthday
That’s absolutely why! Also Terry Brooks has a book coming out March 11 and I thought it would be super cool to share a release date haha
My D&D group dissolved a couple years ago when my buddy and his girlfriend brokeup. I still get the urge to throw dice and it breaks my heart that all of my friends have scattered around the USA so I dont have a reliable group.
My short answer is I would love to read it. My long answer is I 100% don’t think I can in that window
lol my sister-in-law said she doesn't think she could find time to read 400 pages in a whole year, I get it
It’s more that I’m one of the team leads on a software migration at work on top of all of my other tasks so it’s like a complete brain shutdown by the time I get home.
Fantasy adjecent (and i dont think anyone in the accountability in entertainment thread will know) but YouTuber Daniel Greene is accused of all sorts-
I can't watch it yet because I'm at work right now (shared office), but I used to watch his Wheel of Time videos all the time horrible
Regardless of if the events themselves happened in the way they are described in the video, the fact that he sent a C&D on something that had no mention of him to begin with is such a damning act. To me that's a pretty clear admission of guilt, but obviously innocent until proven guilty, and I'm curious how this will play out in court. Also, the dude hired a cartoon character for his lawyer. I had no idea he was a medical professional. No idea what it is about "fame" that causes people like this to do stupid/damaging shit.
Happy belated DCC Book 7 Audible day. Already read it on Kindle but really looking forward to hearing Jeff Hays on this one. What a book. What a series.
