Pattinson had some of the best insights into Batman I read in a lot of interviews for The Batman. I think he's been at a point in his career where he doesn't do anything he doesn't want to.
Listen, I grew up with the Garfield cartoon. You can't tell me that Garfield's lazy, slightly depressed tone isn't something Pratt could do in his sleep.
he does not sound like garfield at all, he just sounds like Chris Pratt. Maybe if he actually tried to do a voice he could pull it off.
Honestly, I didn't even watch the trailer, I'm just going by how Chris Pratt sounds in my head. If it helps, nothing I'm saying about him right now could be considered flattering.
Yeah, I thought in the trailer he was going to do a voice like the old cartoon, but he just did Chris Pratts normal voice.
Bill Murray and Lorenzo Music worked as Garfield because they both hit that kind of lazy, tired tone (Murray, especially, because he phoned that thing in). Pratt just doesn’t have that cadence. He’s always sounded like an overly enthusiastic kid. We need to respect the Garfield lore and legacy!!
