Unless they change the origin a little bit, Doom will most likely be another actor in his mid to late 40s. Honestly don’t have the slightest clue who they could go with

 

if that’s the vibe they give off to you, you clearly haven’t seen much, if any, of their work lol

No, he doesn't. And I would not want this Reed to become the Maker.

Guys, we've had two attempts at the franchise that failed miserably. Let's please try to get it right this time and not then throw it away by making one of the biggest and most important superheroes in the comics into an irredeemable piece of shit.

It kind of is. A very good actor can play any role. When he was first announced as Joel, I couldn’t see it at all. But he nailed it and there’s no reason why he can’t do the same as Reed.

Tom is a great actor, he just wasn't right for the Thor role.

Great actors can play a variety, sometimes even a metric shit ton of different roles, but saying they can play any role is incorrect and doesn't highlight the strengths and weaknesses of actors and actresses. Some roles are finely tuned with a specific actor in mind, sometimes an actor transforms what's on the page and makes the character their own, but it absolutely does not mean that actors, even great ones can just fit any mold.

(Btw, at this point I'm just talking acting in general, not about Pedro)

Don't really know how you can call anything bad casting until you see the performance. Especially when the comparisons are uhhhh a comic book drawing, Ioan Gruffudd, Miles Teller, and the few of minutes John Kraskinski playing him in Doctor Strange

 

To be clear I'm not saying it's bad casting I was just saying that's not how acting works

 

At least the takes in here aren’t as bad as the one I saw on Reddit, where someone said that Pedro doesn’t sound anything like Reed. Reed Richards the fictional character that is a drawing…

He also has been done a lot in video games as just small voice lines and such
