pedro would be a fantastic reed, i just don’t know if he fits with the other rumored names, though maybe those are fake news

 

I knew someone would take that the wrong way. Lol I love Jake. He’s one of my favorite actors and is easily one of the best around. But he was already Mysterio. It just would’ve been a clusterfuck if they cast him again

Pedro and Jake are awful choices for Mr Fantastic

 

Why though?

 

Because they are good actors but they don't fit the style of Reed Richards I wish the MCU would go for? The suspension of disbelief required for me to buy into Pedro saying something Reed would say about science and the universe is far too much.

I don't know what else to say. They don't vibe with it for me.

 

Who does fit the style you wish for then?

RDJ was only ever Charlie Chaplin to me. Didn’t believe he was Tony Stark.

Chris Evans was only ever Jake from Not Another Teen Movie. Captain America? Get outta here.

I could go on. Actors act. I wasn’t watching TLOU and saying “Nah, that’s Prince Oberyn/Din Djarin/Javier Peña, he can’t be Joel” because he acted his arse off in all 4 roles. Him being Reed is excellent casting because he’s a great fucking actor!

Zach Cregger has weapons and Pedro Pascal will shoot them. Sounds fun.

Guys, actors don’t act. Pedro can’t play different types of characters. Acting is super rare these days.
