I’m so grateful to have a small theater within walking distance of my suburban house with $10 ($7.50 matinee) tixs

I miss the theater by my high school that had $8 tickets as the most expensive option

I miss Regal Unlimited. I’m nowhere near a Regal now. My theater has no monthly deal.

I went in expecting it to be mediocre. I was pleasantly surprised by how fun the movie was and how interesting the world looked.

I thought the humor was purposefully underplayed to the point where it didn’t feel like it was begging for laughs so much as lightly floating some banter to show rapport between these characters.

I thought the mid-credits scene was really bad. The way Doom came out of nowhere and the way he was framed and positioned looked like something out of an integrated marketing spot. Like I was watching a McDonalds commercial where a teenager gets up from the table to get a napkin and when he returns a faceless actor in a Doom cape is sitting at his table holding a Doom mask in one hand and stealing a fry with the other hand. It did not feel like I was watching something that was occurring in the reality of the movie—it felt like a cheap non-canon promotional bumper that uses the characters’ likenesses.

Yeah this is what perplexes me when people complain about it not being funny. I don't think it was supposed to be, there were very few jokes, and when there were any, it was just light hearted banter amongst family

I agree. Did nothing for me, really. But I don't care too much about a credits scene

If they hadn’t already confirmed Doom was in play, the credits scene would have been fire as our first confirmation that Doom is coming. But we already know Doom is here/coming. So, the big reveal was basically seeing the first look at the design of the side of his cloak and mask?

Should have been a short clip of Doom’s boots as he steps in to the back of the long line of people who have interest in the celestial-powered god baby who can do everything/anything any villain could ever dream up

God, if Doom bots appear in the MCU, are they all just gonna look like reskinned Iron Man suits to play off Victor being played by RDJ? Lol
