idk how them naming their tentpole movie after him would give the indication they think he’s a throwaway character lol
I’m not even accusing them of thinking he’s a throwaway character. All I’m saying is I hope they don’t rush his story. When it was Kang Dynasty, a stinger made sense. Now their tentpole movie villain is just introduced in a stinger for the characters he’s most tied to? Don’t think it’s that weird to be questioning what their plan is. I’m on board for whatever they do anyway.
i don't think introducing a more important villain in a movie with galactus and silver surfer makes much sense. idk how else to say it.
I mean that’s totally fair. I’m not trying to say you’re wrong. I just think him showing up for a few scenes in the movie to establish Victor’s relationship to FF would be better for their arc. The stinger can still be the actual setup for his Avengers movie too. Idk I’m high and I’m pretty sure we never really disagreed on anything and I’m just stupid. I just hope they do the character justice and that’s all I care about in the end. I’ll happily be in the seat regardless because I enjoy these movies even when they’re not so good.
I think you can accomplish what you want @digitalsea in about 14 seconds of screen time by simply having a photo of Pedro Pascal and Robert Downey Jr on display in their house/lab/lair whatever.
My inclination is that Doom should probably be in this movie in some capacity? But also, you could totally just do a credits scene with him here & a flashback in Avengers 5, and it’ll get the message across.
I don't think it's a coincidence that they acknowledged the space corpse and suddenly everybody is excited about the MCU again
