I was going to ask why every clip I've seen of her is like that. not familiar with her

 

it’s her Ozark character. Ozark is a bad show but she was a fun character.

 

She's also very good in that movie The Assistant from a few years ago. She can do understated, quiet performances too, but the Ozark clips are more unhinged and entertaining.

 

Ozark a bad show? I'll admit I didn't watch the last season but I never thought it was bad.

 

It’s by no means prestige or anything, but I love me some thrillers and suspense and twists. Plus it had some great performances and characters and cinematography/direction at times. What they were going for worked for me and I had a good time.
