I thought this was quite good. Definitely doesn’t reach his first three series, but it’s miles better than whatever the Midnight Club was trying to be.

 

Love the lemon monologue in Episode 3.

 

Beginning of Episode 6 was so cool.

 

Just started this with my wife and we both have really enjoyed it. We’re not big horror fans, but the Poe allusions made us give it a shot. I’m honestly interested in finding a good YouTube video describing all the connections and mirrors once we finish it.

 

Ended up liking this a good amount, but obviously it’s no Hill House, and kind of fizzled out at the end.

love that Hush is getting the recognition it deserves beyond the walls of Netflix (although someone should sit Flanagan down and ask why he has a thing for hand trauma)

I have wondered this before. It's one of the things that grosses me out most. I will just never watch Gerald's Game.

I had the EXACT same experience.

 

Three episodes into this and really, really into it. The interweaving of Poe's stories into the overarching Usher family tragedies is very much my shit. Like an anthology series, but much more focused.
