fun movie, should have never gotten compared to grey man since leitch is much better than the geek-ass russo brothers
like if nothing else we should have known the setpieces would be great (they were) and not gobbledegook (they weren't)
The extended cut??! I thought this was a sinking ship that had Gosling and Blunt bailing water. Completely nonsensical script that felt like it was written by AI.
The extended cut might actually be necessary tbh but as far as the theatrical goes Mort is kind of right, it's quite bad
This was both fun and irritating, so my typical reaction to David Leitch’s non-John Wick work. Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt have solid chemistry and that carries it through. The trippy fight scene and unicorn gag was the highlight for sure. That and the dog. I think I would have enjoyed it a hair more in a crowded theater, but it made for a solid plane movie.
