This will be my Saltburn of 2024 unless somehow something worse comes out. And tbh I liked Saltburn more too. Genuinely baffled at the reception this has been getting.

it was fun and bad

 

saw it. loved it. good and fun movie

 

This was fun but felt like it went on forever. Any of the onscreen time between the leads was great because they are great, but all the extra action (I get why it had to be in there) was just tiresome to me after a while.

 

Hmm maybe don’t go see an action movie if you don’t enjoy action sequences!

 

Don’t be dramatic. Plus you need me to go see it - it bombed - every penny counts!

I said it was fun and I liked it. It’s comedic and romantic as well - don’t reduce it to a simple action film. It just dragged a bit.

 

It was fun, but the first half was significantly better than the back half which dragged so much. Some action scenes were fantastic like the night club and the first time in the apartment, but the one on the road was way too long and the last part was just not it.

Ryan and Emily were perfect together.

I don’t think elf saw the correct movie. The first half was the better half.

 

And I agree the road chase was probably my least favorite action sequence

The way they handled the dialogue and their relationship in the first half is excellent

 

There’s no denying when he goes back to the set after the apartment it comes to a halt, unfortunately.
