Liked but didn’t love this, All Too Well scene was perfect. Not quite as funny (for me) as I expected but still, a good time

I think one of the problems I had with it is it should have just gone from him shooting the movie to him looking for ATJ’s character. Him going on the drug dealer mission then going back to set then back on the hunt seemed to create some weird pacing.

Apparently this made only 28 mil opening weekend and underperformed. Sucks hopefully it bounces back. I want more movies like this.

Idk the MCU loves to pick indie directors to film 200 million dollar movies.

I misunderstood the Miami Vice Stunt Team jacket explanation, and thought he did stunts on the actual 1980's TV show, and for a bit thought this movie took place in a weird alternate 90's or something before I figured out it was just a theme park stunt show thing lol

    Trusted

This was the very first David Leitch movie I liked (I walked out of Bullet Train). I had a great time. Wish it was doing better

This was really fun. I had a great time watching this. Also I had no idea Stephanie Hsu was in this so it was a fun surprise seeing her pop up.

    roamer. wanderer. nomad. vagabond.

hadn't had this much fun at a movie since the first deadpool.
sentimental opinion since my dad and i watched the original lee majors series.
so seeing the old gmc sierra, the new truck with the two tone, the cgi free truck jump near the karaoke bar, the cameo at the end...
easily my fav movie of the year so far.

    pure on main

was fully in on this from that long tracking shot at the start, through the gosling/blunt film set reunion. then it took a complete nosedive as soon as the agent/missing actor plot kicked in. wish this had been 30 minutes shorter, but still had fun
