The race stuff is different from the imperialist stuff as far as I can tell (minus the usual links between those two things lol). The race angle has to do with black super heroes in the past not getting the same treatment as their white counterparts (with some hints at that still being the case today), whereas the main antagonists seem to harbor some beliefs that have homes in modern far left circles, I.e. borderless nations, collectivism, etc. Basically they want the world to be more like it was during the blip

 

i wish they thought of something cooler than “the blip” lol

 

Yeah I feel like "The Blip" was a funny thing for teenagers to be calling it in Far From Home, but now they've just stuck with it as the official canon term. I don't think that was the intention of Far From Home's screenwriters lol

 

Mostly echo what everyone else said about the episode. I like it but also some things def felt off/forced. Cant quite put my finger on it. But it felt like they were having witty banter at strange times.

The Hobbit line was funny AF though

 

this might be worse than wanda. yikes. at least that tried to do something interesting. this is hitting all the same familiar notes as the lower tier movies but with a less compelling story.

 

I love me some typical Marvel nonsense tbh

 

It’s def worse than Wandavision but it’s perfectly “fine” and worth a hour of my life every Friday.

 

i mean, yeah, im still watching it. it's just not good. watching stuff you know isn't good is totally fine.

I’m liking the show a lot *shrug*

 

Yea, I'm enjoying it thus far

 

There are some things that are just a tad off, but it’s a good show, I’m enjoying this overall.

I never read the comics with falcon as the new cap, but I hope the show goes a direction where Sam shows leader-like traits. Forgive if I haven’t noticed that in the character so far.

Also, they have to be getting another show or movie right? I mean the show can’t just end with him taking the mantle and the character’s ark just ends. Hmmm

 

I’m guessing another season / show. Disney as a whole have basically shifted the whole company towards Disney+ and away from literally everything else. I think after the initial announced theatrical movies we will see a big dip down to maybe 1 or 2 a year. Direct to consumer is now their primary brand focus.

 

I dont think this will get a 2nd season but i do assume the outcome of this shows events will play into future films in Phase 4 and forward

 

I definitely think that’s gonna happen too, make movies in theaters an event and keep everything else on Plus.
