solid ep but man, this plot is moving reeeeal slow for a 6-episode miniseries haha

 

I feel like a lot of ground was covered in this episode. I’m still not sure how I feel about the Flag-smashers.

 

As I did last week, I posted my reaction to this one on my YouTube channel. Spoiler warning!

I thought this was a big step up from last week's episode. I had a few little nitpicky issues with this one but overall I'll take all the Sam/Bucky interactions I can.

 

I’m really liking this so far. It feels like an extended movie and this is the end of Act 1 so I’m ok with the slower pace at this point.

 

I mean the first 3 episodes of Wandavision advanced absolutely nothing so pace isn’t bothering me so far. Sebastian Stan and Anthony Mackie work great together.

 

I loved this episode TBH. Bucky’s line about Cap being wrong about him really made me feel some emotion.

Also John Walker seems pretty likable for the most part

 

Solid episode, love the banter between Sam and Bucky

 

Great episode. Love how they’re addressing the racism entrenched in America.

Stan and Mackie have great chemistry too.

 

Wyatt Russell without a beard is weird.

 

Re-watched episode 1 and then the new one, liking this way more now.

I feel like this episode and the previous could’ve been combined into one episode to move things along a bit faster. Surprised Sharon still hasn’t shown up yet. I think overall I expected and hoped this would be more fun than it’s been so far

 

I think this has been the right amount of fun - i really like the personal story so far. I can’t believe i didnt like this last week. Truly a fool.

 

I’m enjoying this more than WandaVision so far

 

Digging the character stuff happening here a lot.

 

I’m used to pro-imperialist/anti-left propaganda but this shit...

 

I'm likely gonna end up watching this tonight I'm sure, but if it isn't a massive improvement over last week's, I'm just not sure this is the right show for me

Was there an audio delay for anyone else? It's driving me fucking crazy on my Roku, I even tried backing out, opening another app, and reopening Disney+ with no luck

Another solid episode. Love Mackie and Stan together.

 

This ep was good. Still not wowed by the action, but Sam and Bucky together are fun to watch.

 

some of the banter did feel... a bit forced to me. I love Mackie and Stan together for sure but it feels like they had a few page blocks in the script just carved out for "here is where they bicker"

there was some good stuff though. Bucky bragging about reading The Hobbit in 1937 had me dying

Ok, decided to look up what's happening in this out of curiosity, since no one's really talking about it (compared to WandaVision). And, it seems like they're leaning heavily into the black American angle... with a white woman directing, & the most recent episode written by a white dude? I've seen more people on Twitter call it imperialist than racist, so maybe there haven't been major missteps there yet (though, I also saw very little online about the messiness of Soul outside of some black people on Twitter). But, that still feels super weird to me.

I'd legitimately love to hear you elaborate more on this.
