Enjoyed the hell out of the show overall. Finale was solid. Cant wait for cap 4

I didn’t buy the walker suddenly cool stuff though. He was like a complete supervillain last episode.

 

The suit/Mackie was so good in this episode but the whole finale overall felt like a total mess.

 

I feel like it’s not that sus. Black cap and his suit is the coolest part of the episode. It’s other parts that drag it down.

 

Best episode of the series imo

Having said that this episode was on par with other Marvel movies/shows that received higher scores.

It’s also RT so whatever.

loved everything about the finale except Sam’s goggles during his speech.

I hate feeling so grumpy about this but I really think this should've been a movie. Can definitely appreciate the pandemic fucking with this a bit but that really doesn't change the quality of the first three episodes. I really wanted to enjoy this but it mostly felt like a mess. Still excited for the first Cap movie with Sam. I mostly feel like Marvel in general has wasted Sharon Carter but am super excited for more Julia Louis-Dreyfus moving forward

 

I feel like Sharon will be in cap 4. This def set her up to be bigger moving forward with what was in the mid credit scene

 

I feel like the villain turn would make more sense if she was secretly a Skrull and this was Secret Invasion set up, but we'll see where it goes.

So those Thunderbolt Ross and "right wing group" rumors turned out to be nothing, eh? Or were those potentially lost to the cutting room floor amid COVID?

 

Ross was most likely cut. This is the first I’m hearing of a right wing group appearing

 

The Thunderbolts were heavily rumored in “leaks” to show up, along with Red Hulk so I doubt it. There were also “leaks” that Bucky was gonna become White Wolf at the end.

 

So I have a smooth brain with MCU stuff - is walker good or a tweener and is Sharon bad?

 

they didn't do a good job writing those developments even for people who have seen all these things

Lol at least when iron man tried to kill half the team there was some actual ramifications of it a bit haha

I thoroughly enjoyed this. Ended up quite behind so haven’t been in this thread at all - quite surprised people found it to be slow. I really enjoyed how it fleshed out Sam’s character and took us on a journey. It was great to see him take on the mantle but also address the racism and the significance of a black man as Captain America. Bucky apologising for two white men leaving the shield with him, as well as his speech to the senator and Isaiah’s statue were moving.

 

Finished this - ultimately somewhat of a missed chance here, some really incredible ideas and ideology here that just couldn’t stick the landing. A shame really - Walker, Sam and Bucky all were pretty good in the show (acting-wise), but there was some serious work that needed to be done to tighten up the first few episodes, as well as the Flag Smashers plot line.

 

I really enjoyed this but the Walker storyline was a bit of a letdown after episode 4
