Sam taking the mantle of Captain America and John walker becoming US Agent was good to see. Overall I enjoyed this show more than WandaVision.

 

Really didn't like them having Walker choose to go after the truck instead of Karli. Could've still had the scene play out the exact same way if he charged at her, knocked her into the construction site, and then had the other Flag Smashers jump in with them. Was extremely out of character for him at that point to try to save the truck instead of get revenge.

Also Sharon being the Power Broker was so lame, like they may as well have just outright said it in episode 3. Why make it so painfully obvious that she's the Power Broker if not to set us up for a reveal that she was a red herring all along? They telegraphed that way too heavy-handedly.

Other than those two things I thought the finale was great. Sam's costume looks incredible. His speech to the GRC was excellent. Very happy with how things turned out.

Sucks we now have to wait until June for more content, but Loki should be good.

 

I thought that was a great finale. Sams suit was so cool (definitely going to get the eventual funko that will drop next week lol)

Sams speech and the Isaiah stuff at the end were very powerful and well done.

Power broker stuff was definitely kind of lame and I don't even know when we will see more of that

lmao I keep forgetting that any of these people could be revealed as Skrulls at any time in the future. That's gonna be fun.

 

I saw a lot of theories she may show back up in Armor Wars.

 

I guess I'm also confused where we will see Sam and Bucky again. I could see this show maybe getting a second season but feels weird to not have them around for however long now. Maybe Black Panther 2

 

Maybe a new Cap movie does get announced? I could see them leaving it out of the previous announcement not to spoil the reveal.

 

you can tell covid really fucked with this. the amount of ADR, the rumors about karli unleashing a virus and some of that appearing to have been left in the actual finished product, the lack of clarity regarding what karli's actual mission ended up being

shame. i liked episodes 4 and 5. rest was kind of a mess though.

 

I like how different Sam’s Cap is from Steve.

Steve was very much holding on to the American spirit of the Greatest Generation and would go back to how things were instead of how things are, although, he became skeptical of how compatible his ways worked with the modern world.

Sam is all about the future. His Cap is not about how much spirit America used to represent, but acknowledges how bad it currently is with a level of optimism towards what it can be. It helps with him not being a man out of time, but his Cap feels more necessary. He definitely has more to lose.

 

Show was definitely rushed toward the end. I think it would have benefitted from more development with maybe even just one extra episode in the middle. The flag smasher arc just felt half baked and the power broker reveal was lame and predictable from a mile away.

I do love Sam's growth into becoming Cap. His story is the strongest thing this had going for it and really the only thing in the show that had me excited for more MCU stuff.

 

I loved that. Sam being Captain America. Bucky getting a little redemption. Zemo having the last laugh. Isaiah getting recognition he deserves. All good.

Also I don’t think Walker going for the truck instead of Karli was out of character. He’s still thinks he’s a hero even if everyone else doesn’t. And correct me if I’m wrong comic readers, but US Agent isn’t full villain, is he? I have a feeling that, whilst he won’t be an anti hero, he won’t be full villain. I’m just glad they didn’t go the Homelander route with him haha

 

I enjoy Mackie's intro as the new Cap, but I hate those goggles. I think if they lost them, or had them come out when he was flying it would look cooler. The color scheme is sweeet.

I knew they would give him his own film but we’re just waiting until this show was done

 

Meh finale. Overall I enjoyed Wandavison a lot more.

 

Glad Russel is sticking around

 

Enjoyed WV more but this was fun and enjoyable and I’m excited about the ramifications of it all.

 

Wish we would have gotten more of the scene with Bucky confessing the murder

 

Would have enjoyed more of that definitely.

 

That bit with Isaiah Bradley got me a lil choked up.
