I really liked getting Zemo & Karli’s perspective on Steve and being Captain America. I think they’ve done a good job of taking that theme and expanding it to everyone.

I appreciate the subtle cracking of John throughout the entire episode. All the ticks and nervousness.

 

The tension in this episode was great.

 

I don’t know why but the “what’s with all the knives” line got me. At first I was like why even say that. But the more I think about it, it just shows he’s like fuck I’m annoyed

 

Wow that really picked up near the end holy shit

Also, I'm glad they didn't do some cheesy sequence where he takes the serum.

I also feel like maybe we don’t actually find out who the actual power broker is. Why do we need to now that there’s no more serum and John Walker already did what he did

 

Man, that episode. First one I’ve properly loved. The first three were great, no doubt. But that one turned it up a notch. Especially that ending.

 

Also how fucking cool are the Dora Milaje?

 

My only complaint is Sam still feels like such a sidekick and we only have 2 episodes to go

I laughed when Sam gives Karli shit for killing people and then the next scene is an all-out brawl in an apartment with everyone trying to kill each other

Really think we didn't need the hamfisted "they are pawns in my way!" or whatever like from Karli to Sam, I think the scene where Battlestar bites it would have been more than enough to show that their goals are being tainted.

Enjoyed it though. Just still uh weird to watch as someone who agrees with the Flag Smasher ideology lol

 

The show agrees with their ideology too though lol, Sam literally says in this episode he agrees with it. The GRC and Walker are the real villains here.

 

The show agrees with it, but goes out of its way to make Karli violent, which seems to me to be out of character for her. I get they're probably going for the "serum enhances who you are" thing but she seems... pretty compassionate? So her planning out a premeditated bombing seemed off, and so did the outburst line about crushing people, to me at least.
