Not surprised since the last two Halloweens are awful; I had a bad feeling when he was announced as director. I just don’t think horror is his bag.

I am more excited for Paramount's "secret" Rosemary's Baby prequel starring Julia Garner that wrapped under a working title last year.

 

is this a bit because of Halloween or genuine

because in either case... ehhhhh

 

Skeptical, but curious. We might get an early showing of this for our local horror fest this year.

Saw the trailer before Oppenheimer. Not really interested. There’s fun horror, spooky horror, nostalgic horror. Then there’s this which just seems like sadistic, demonic, morbid horror.

 

Ah, but it’s this, but with, get this, TWO children!

Honestly don’t know how anyone could be interested in another DGD film after that abomination of Halloween Ends.

 

Hmm some of it looks good, but I still have tempered expectations.

 

Yeah - I’m torn. I’ll still see it but the online screening reactions have me underwhelmed.
