I was wondering if
a Celestial showed up in this.
According to some “leaked” photos I’ve seen,
That quote is obviously dumb as hell but the interview with Zhao is worth reading.
this movie is going to rule
Gonna be interesting to see what happens when Feige aggressively pushes this for next year's Oscars.
Many people will want it to win awards but the Academy will hold itself back from awarding a Marvel movie about aliens and superpowered immortal beings.
Maybe a visual effects win, but that’s it.
Black Panther’s non-visual effects wins would like a word lol
Yeah, BP isn’t about aliens and immortals though. It’s a political action film.
I’d be glad if Eternals is both award-worthy and wins some awards. I just don’t know if the Academy can see itself awarding a Marvel movie about aliens.
Well going into Phase 4, Marvel now has 2 Oscar winning directors and one for sure future winner in their stable between Chloe Zhao, Taika Watiti and Ryan Coogler
wait what? neither taika or ryan have won for best director?
I think they just meant that Taika is an Oscar winner who is also a director
Yea Taika has an Oscar for best adapted screenplay and Coogler will get his one day
First official clips of Eternals. Also official names for phase 4 films
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever
The Marvels (Captain Marvel 2)
A full trailer must be coming soon
Probably in June
lmao Hayek on a horse of course
Maybe Trailer with Cruella definitely with Black Widow
Its that old adage, "one for the show, two for the money, and also the rest for the money."
I’m seriously down for an actually good Dracula movie though.
She’s going to make a Dracula movie like we’ve never seen before. It’ll be great.
Sources tell us that Chloe Zhao’s Eternals “plays like an Oscar-caliber film” and is “unlike anything Marvel has done”, sidestepping many of the audience-friendly conventions that tend to hold other blockbusters of its kind back from major awards success
