This is more on the rock side of the emo spectrum, but I enjoyed it on first listen. I've seen comparisons to Title Fight and Balance and Composure for them, and some some stuff reminds me of Turnover (and maybe even Tigers Jaw?), but with a throwback to the mid-2000's kind of sound:

going through the Fire Talk Records recent releases I missed out on because I like the Halfsour record so much. really enjoying this one from Dehd right now.

I feel like people in here will appreciate the new Katie Dey album. And even if it may not technically be emo, RFC is putting it out so that has to count for something –

 

katie dey is very good and that album is a sonic trip.

Is it much different from the debut?

 

A lot cleaner, catchier, a lot stronger song writing. My only gripe is still the vocals are too high.

 

Love how the there's a song on the Origami Angel EP named after the most underrated Pokémon game XD

 

I’ve played a lot of Pokémon games, but not this one. Should I pick up a used copy?

 

copies go for A LOT these days, think it's the priciest Pokémon game that's not Pokémon Stadium 2. Have you played Pokémon Colosseum? It's the sequel to that. I personally love those games but not everyone does.
