Definitely the new Beach Bunny EP. I guess their EP release show is 8/12.

I've been really bad at tracking releases this year. The only thing I've really been keeping in mind is the new It Looks Sad.

 

I did not like their first acoustic EP, but I really love Painkiller so I'm excited to see what's next for them.

 

If this thread doesn’t explode when It Looks Sad is announced I won’t be angry, I’ll be disappointed.

 

I jammed sports non-stop when it came out to the point where I even recorded a cover of it. Painkiller has been getting the same kind of attention. I think the early stuff was more so just growing pains in the songwriting process.

 

I will carry the weight if this thread is dead

That record rules. Absolutely verified. The Jeff Rosenstock cover is better than the original too.

 

Love when a record comes out of nowhwere and kicks you in the face.

“Short Morgan” on the Ovlov record is a ripper. Didn’t really get a proper listen in wih the stream.

 

Gonna try and hit that Ovlov release today.

Does Barely March have members of other bands? People keep talking about them but I looked at their Facebook page and it’s virtually empty

The pitchfork review actually has some pretty decent background info in it.

 

Sounds like a record I need to listen to.

 

This is good

 

Think some of y'all would dig this! Lot of emo/powerpop/pop-punk influence. They also put out a sweet acoustic track in May.

 

This is a little rough around the edges but they definitely have potential. Was released in Feb of this year.
