    Idk that I would consider the newest material emo but has anyone checked out Mansions’ Deserter? Dig Up the Dead is my favorite emo record of all time and I wish Chris got more recognition when Mansions was active. All of their music is underrated imo

    This is solid. Feel like there's a chance I'll completely forget about it in a month, but for now I'm enjoying it. Seems like a good amalgamation of a lot of what's happening in "emo" rn. Love the synths and the female vocals. The guy often sounds like Jeff Rosenstock, which is dope too.

    from facebook posts it looks more like a code orange/adventures type deal where its separate band but with same people? I feel Pictures of Vernon will still be playing under there name for some shows.

    Originally the impression I had was that POV became Diva Sweetly but I believe they said new POV material was coming, so it’s more likely they’re two different bands with the same members . For a while POV sets would include Diva Sweetly songs
