I kind of stopped following everything that happens in emo after Holy Ghost. I kept up with some bands like touche amore or tigers jaw. But what important/good emo albums since 2016 would u guys recommend to get me up to date again?

I don’t think any of them are “important” albums save Somewhere City. I feel like Origami Angel set the tone for a lot of 5th wave bands.

The goalie's anxiety at the penalty kick sounds like the english translation to a German novel (die angst des tormanns beim elfmeter).

Funny enough, an early German emo/post-hardcore song from i think 1990 has the same title:
