Didn't realize the self-titled full length was actually released in full today and it's absolutely wild. RIYL....idk, guitars? The only pop-punk/emo/etc album of the year with a bass-driven mathy breakdown worthy of Gorguts (to my knowledge). Instant purchase, hope these guys finally get some broader love.

I usually listen to Y2K when I think of "emo," but actually Sunny Day Real Estate really IS the best emo.

 

All these kids pretending to be "down" w/ emo, when actual emoheads got bullied in high school.
