This isn't really emo (more post-hardcore or post rock) and from 2020, but I'm posting it here because this is one of the more active music threads. I've really been digging this album from japanese band Envy. It's called The Fallen Crimson. FFO Deafheaven, Respire, Infant Island, Holy Fawn

 

Good record and it is has definitely been shared in other threads. Their EP from two years is also very good.

 

I just listened to a Mineral album (The Power of Failing) for the first time in my life and holy shit I love it.

 

Envy is great. Their Thursday split EP still hits

 

Then listen to The Gloria Record, same vocalist

 

Utterly knocked me out on my first listen when I was 16 and it's in my top three favorite albums to this day. The best emo band ever.

 

great record. reminds me of old our lady peace vocally at times which is a good thing.

 

Listening to Des Ark after the thread mentioned them a while back. I specifically remember seeing they’re Screamo though on here? I don’t hear any screamo lol but I’m digging them.

 

This has to be a new single from Athletics. Finally!

 

I might go two of these days instead of one this year. I’m kinda mad about Belmont, but whatever.
