I can't believe this album is 10 years old. I feel old as hell.

 

I can't believe those scumbags are still touring.

 

I haven't been up on music news or following what is going on with bands in years. Did something happen with them or something?

 

Yeah, they had a (now former) member who sexually assaulted someone. They kicked him out when that information became public and claimed they didn't know about it before but it turned out they actually knew about it, did nothing, took the dude on tour with them, and then later kicked him out when it became public. Then when that became known they didn't really say anything about it, just went silent for a bit, and returned like nothing happened.

 

(Just to add one more thing to the above)

They sent a statement about it out through their e-mail list but most people are not subscribed to their e-mail list and they said in that statement that would be the only time they ever spoke about it which I found odd. Like, you don't want to let people know you had a sexual abuser in your band and they are now out of the band to the general public? The whole thing still seems odd to me.
