Some of you may know, but just in case you don't, or you forgot... When I travel, or go to local record stores in my area, I like to go through the emo/punk/hardcore sections and pick out a couple 7 inch records that look interesting. I pick out just the ones of bands I've never heard of. It's generally very small bands from the 90s to early 2000s that only pressed like 200-500 copies of their records. I'll be uploading records to YouTube every Tuesday and Friday as long as I have new ones to share. Feel free to subscribe if this idea sounds up your alley. I've stumbled on some really awesome music this way. https://www.youtube.com/@7inchitch Originally, I had an Instagram account for this (@7inchitch) but I was only able to share a single song from each record, so it wasn't quite ideal. Especially for split EPs and compilations. So I've decided to turn my focus onto the YouTube channel. Anyway, sorry for the shameless self promo. Enjoy!
What a loaded year. That was an exciting time - could really feel the scene surging back and renewing. I adore that state faults record but not sure I’ve ever encountered anybody else talking about them.
