Off topic, but just wanted to say nice avatar! Happy to see some love for Attack in Black. Love that band. Hope they get back together some day, but I doubt it. Not so much into Daniel Romano's solo stuff. The live album is great, especially the unreleased songs.

Hey thanks! Dig the avi too what a record that is! I just bought Curve of The Earth stoked to finally own that one on vinyl and yeah the live album is great love hearing those unreleased songs. Attack in Black is such a fascinating band their evolution was wild from hardcore punk to punk rock to folk punk to acoustic to indie rock. They excelled in every genre they attempted imo. Also I thought I should mention that I just discovered Andy Shauf and Foxwarren (he sings in that band) and I have been getting some minor AiB vibes which has been awesome.

 

ima have to make a japanese itunes account to buy this JYOCHO album eh? fuckk

I've never loved this band like other people tbh. I think this is a really cool sound for them

 

this is great and very mineral-y. it was immediate from the start. this review on their bandcamp cracked me up.

2008 was a good year for Australian bands that wanted to be mineral. arrows put out modern art and politics that year too
