Also for AOTYs, the Deer Scout and Florist records are really good and were criminally slept on here. Also Sadurn, Pool Kids, Bread Pilot, Bartees Strange, Future Teens, NNAMDI, Hey ily, Carly Cosgrove, Rat Tally, Camp Trash, Mom Jeans, Prince Daddy & The Hyena, Babehoven, Jeanines, Sobs, Julia Jacklin, Stella Donnelly, and Tenci put out very solid records this year.

Thanks, this is amazing as well! I'm listening to her 2021 album and it's so good, nothing like Phoebe or Novo Amor actually, but really the closest thing to Julien Baker that I've heard in a while for sure. Reminded me I need to listen to that Mt. Oriander LP a bit more too.

 

I read that caption as the new one will have some elements of Novo Amor and I need that in my life

I’ve found some dope stuff in this thread that isn’t exactly “emo” and I may not have found it without this thread.
