Nice review of itoldyouiwouldeatyou on getakternative @Zac Djamoos, really enjoyed the write up. You pretty much summed up how I feel about the album. So many incredible moments but also frustrating moments which hold it back imo.

a show popped up with Bedbug opening for Alexander. never heard them but checked it out and I dig.

Completely agree, they have so much potential and there are so many standout sections of the album that I can't believe their next album won't be incredible

God Once Loved a Woman floored me. Stll not sure how I feel about American, such an odd opener choice

 

Gonna check the Frog album and Oliver Houston EP at some point

 

I really dig that song actually, maybe you'll come around! but yeah, God Once Loved a Woman is the highlight for sure

I liked their last album, but haven’t revisited it much. Sad to see them go tho.
