it's more reminiscent of them lyrically and in the riffs imo, the other ones are a bit more sonically closer
I decided it would be fun to make a playlist on Apple Music based upon bands that sort of fit under the emo umbrella. To be fair, this is not my idea nor my playlist. It is a playlist created by Pure Noise on Spotify (hence a lot of the artists on here) but I thought it would be fun to expand my musical knowledge and recreate the playlist on Apple Music. I found a lot of bands I have grown to love and appreciate while others not so much. Those of you who know me know I love making playlists as it is the best way for me to digest a ton of new music. It took me about 4 days to compile this and it's roughly 10 hours worth of listening. Enjoy!
this is me. riyl: menzingers/oasis/interpol/kinda grungey power-pop. writing a LP for next year, if you wanna keep an eye out. releasing a single today, with a three song EP on 10/7 (there's a bonus track cover that comes with the bandcamp here) single is also on bandcamp and apple music, soundcloud, etc.
Been listening to this since you posted it. Perfect late summer jams. (Cause it’s still been in the 90s here)

And listen to Plastic Western if you never did, it remains awesome Same - Does It Go Any Faster? (October 28, 2022) • forum.chorus.fm
