I'm in this band Gentle Dark, by Jorne It's on the dark / angry side. RIYL Perfect Future (vocalist was bass in PF), Overo, big riff parts, 3/4 time signature, maybe Pianos Become the Teeth, Thrice, or Holy Fawn if you squint.
