got a bandcamp email that just said "Everyone Everywhere just released Everyone Everywhere (LP3)" and just about lost my mind. cool that they're doing a vinyl pressing of some old stuff, but I am a little bit bummed. hahah.

 

I used to love that album. I actually met them years later - 2008 or 2009 probably - because my wife knew their then-manager (who I think they'd just signed with) and they played a few acoustic songs for us at his office. I asked them if they could play "Certain Words In Uncertain Times", and they were like "yeah, we probably don't know that song now, we're not really that band anymore".

 

yeah I think that was their neon era lol. I listened to this and the self-titled this morning and a lot of these still bang (although some of the lyrics in the s/t have not aged well)

 

hell yeah

 

Immediate purchase. LP2 is one of the best albums in this genre IMO.
