this mineral song is unreal lol

 

I'll put something else on and then go immediately back to it. so happy that it's 8 minutes longs, it's like we got two songs.

 

Mineral never clicked with me tbh but that song makes me wanna try again. The guitar work is really cool.

 

yup same as me. I still havent gotten into any of their early work, but this song is so sick ima go back and try again. The last 2 minutes of this song leave me in shambles

 

Make sure you check out their other record and ep too. Both solid releases as well. They've good a new EP coming out on Nov 16th.

 

I love Mineral’s guitar work, especially on Power of Failing. It’s not particularly flashy, but the way they use feedback on “Slower” or have one really harsh part pierce a calm section before the rest of the band comes in on “Parking Lot” are really neat.

 

Hell yeah, I grabbed their discography after how in love I am with the last one

Tbh it’s weird how many people I’ve seen say the new mineral song is the only one of theirs they like. It’s definitely a mineral song, hahah, just Chris sounds way better on it

Also, cool to see the hodera love in here. Their new ep is rad

 

Chris' voice on the Mineral albums is hard to get into if you don't like it from the get-go I think. His voice on the new song is way "better" in terms of accessibility, so it totally makes sense to me why people might say that.

For sure! They really stayed true to from on this new song

 

Honestly this might be the best comeback single I can think of. It sounds recognizably like mineral, but it still feels fresh and it isn’t a rehash
