I saw that image recently and discovered some new bands from it. Guitar Fight From Fooly Cooly has been on repeat this week.

I love how fifth wave emo is bands like home is where, glass beach, weather day, young jesus, hey ily, who defy genre categorization and pull from tons of disparate styles within the same song, and then also bands like camp trash and oso oso who are just pop rock

 

So is there truly a 5th Wave of emo?

Really enjoyed this. The production is a bit muddy but otherwise great.
