fuck, at least there's someone else out in the world searching for it. I've tried googling and searching the dark corners of the internet and the band's social media pages. I've even commented on the band's FB profile asking about it to no avail. Their new stuff is good but I remember that album being seriously great.
double-post but who cares this one is unbelievably good. korean emo record that dips into these nostalgic shoegaze and post-rocky moments. feels like Crash of Rhinos at times with less aggression. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS!!!
damn i've been sleeping on this thread. what are some of peoples' favorites of the last few months besides that one?
Wild Pink, Another Michael, Sun June, Remember Sports, Julien Baker, Pony, Bicycle Inn, Adult Mom, Ian Sweet, Monobody, Camp Trash, Moontype, Floatie, Noods, Fog Lake, MJ Lendermann, Clever Girls, Anika Pyle, Katy Kirby, Skullcrusher, Lande Hekt, Really From, Nervous Dater, Harmony Woods, LAPECHE, Early Riser, Palberta and further away from emo but stuff that folks in here would like: The Spirit of the Beehive, Cassandra Jenkins, Lael Neale, Pom Poko, Goat Girl Also new Manchester Orchestra, Origami Angel, and Great Deceivers albums out tonight
Spirit of the Beehive is probably my AOTY so far, but Another Michael and Katy Kirby are both up there as far as emo releases.
Damn thank you! Like the entire band loves Touche Amore and Counterparts even though we obviously make music that sounds nothing like that but I think it's super cool that it shines through enough a little bit for people to pick up on it
Also I feel like 90s style emo doesn't get talked about quite that much in here, the new Sinking and Somerset Thrower records are great stuff
love sinking. definitely feel like arms like roses feels super 90s. the very opening of the first song reminds me of some 90s song but i cannot remember what lol
haha it's some pop song i think, and i think it's in the vocal melody, but i definitely hear the softer side of i hate myself at points btw, hope it's not weird, but you're in cinema stare also right?
Ive completely fallen off checking out new bands for past months cause ive just been visiting all the 90s stuff id never heard. There’s so much and its all 10/10
