Looks like the band is Frail. Washed Up Emo guy hashtagged #makeyourownnoise which is the name of a Frail album from 2000 and is also apparently a huge Frail fan.

Honestly, I had to look them up too. They were around for only a few years and didn’t seem like they made a huge name for themselves (although they apparently influenced Saetia a lot). I don’t think this will really be a big deal and I think the Washed Up Emo guy thinks it will because he’s a huge fan of them.

It could be another band but the fact that he hashtagged an album of theirs in a reply to the post and is a huge fan makes it very likely it’s them.

 

Just release the Fiddlehead LP

Listening to this Frail band for the first time. Their album's recording is so bad that I hope they reunite and re-record the whole thing, haha. The songs I've heard so far are pretty cool!

 

I think you'll be into them. if I had heard years the year it came out it would have been close to the top.

 

I'm not saying Frail is bad by any means, I'm just saying that, given who everyone in his replies was speculating he was talking about, A LOT of people are going to be disappointed and pissed at him for hyping this up as huge news that everyone should care about and that you're not "true emo" if you don't care about it.

 

yeah that was a very weird call given frail was never even terribly big when they were around

one of the best bands period

 

I saw them open for Lucy Dacus last year and they were good, so this is very cool!

 

more indie pop folk stuff but these are friends of mine from high school and some people might dig
