Welp, there’s my most anticipated for the rest of the year. Going By is a legit masterpiece and Still Water is also incredible.

I finally put on the Hospital Sports album this morning because of this post and I'm now listening to it for a third time today. I love it, it kind of reminds me of the antlers

 

I got Wild Pink meets Pinback vibes. Others mentioned Appleseed Cast and I also kinda hear The Antlers too. It's probably one of the best I've heard in awhile.

 

Okay I had that record on the back burner, but I’m gonna need to change that now. That comparison is just a whole bunch of bands I like

 

I do have to say that the opening melody to "Life Support" sounds like it's a quarter after 1, I'm a little drunk and I need you nowwww

 

The first time I heard it I thought it was a cover of that song honestly

I listened to the Carpool album a couple times on a long walk. I like it a lot. Reminds me of The Front Bottoms.

 

every once in a while i listen to Fred Thomas and i really start to question how he is so over looked. All Are Saved -> Changer -> Aftering is like an all time 3 album run for me.

 

This FFO has me intrigued

 

Listening to their EP from last year now and it's good.

This may be more emo adjacent, but if you aren't aware, Stereogum is doing a covers compilation to help stay afloat during these times, and the artists participating so far is insane. (It's $20 to get the compilation when it comes out)

I made a thread for the new (debut) Oceanator record coming out in a few weeks. Checked out the singles and they are great.
