This would never happen but I think everyone in Philadelphia would explode if it did
New Walter Mitty and His Makeshift Orchestra (formerly Walter, Etc.)
No, they’re calling this “b-sides and rarities from a bygone era”
this podcast has been on fire with these retro episodes
the joyce manor and la dispute slander in that episode really irked me
2014 was one of the best music years ever though.
never hungover again, rooms of the house, from parts unknown, kingfisher, loom, t-minus grand gesture, charmer, i am king, hoodwink'd. i could go on and on and on....
Stumbled upon Lou Diamonds post-Jank project, which I had never listened to or knew of, and it took me (4) songs to realize it. Now I'm really mad at myself because the thought "wow I could really get into this album." was instantaneously followed by the realization, "Wait, I think I've heard this voice before.."
Happy Monday Y'all
2014 and 2016 are probably my two favorite years for music. This is not just because we got a hotelier album in both of those years
2016 is definitely the first year that comes to mind for me when I think about best years for music
2006, 2011, 2014
2011 was a good one too
every time I hear slander for good records on that podcast I wanna fight online so I feel this
I like the podcast but they’ve got some really nutty takes sometimes for sure
great grandpa has a new single coming out this week too.
I feel like every year has been a good year for me as long as I was actively engaged with new releases or trying to cover old ones that I hadn't yet listened to.
Not sure if this was ever posted but I’ve been into it lately. Some nice alt country flavor to it
I’ve been tagging my posts too!
I think someone in here recommended the glass beach album. Whoever it was thank you very much, it's amazing
this is great grandpas house now
everything is classified as emo country now. even the new gg
we still hang out sometimes
and talk about
how we used to hang out sometimes
funny how time changes things
but it’s never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever
gonna change me
oh hell ya!
