It Looks Sad. Returns With New Lineup and New Album It Looks Sad. Interview At the end of the article it says to expect new singles in the next few weeks
Is a pile of leaves gonna come out with any new music? I feel like they dropped off the face of the earth it’s been so long
"Where are you? I'm in Klamath Falls, are you here?", by Common Sage Edit: This came out today btw. Just started it and enjoying it so far. Early Modest Mouse vibes + midwest emo = winning combo.
Gonna try and infuse this thread with more emo stuff that has long been forgotten since it was released like Paper Rival's record Dialog. Primarly an indie rock record with undeniable emo influences. Drums at the very beginning of the opener on the record sound so similar to Wolves at Night by Manchester Orchestra. Shame that the band couldn't get along and broke up shorly after the album came out. Saw them twice and they killed it both times. First time with Manchester and Colour Revolt (RIP) second time they opened for Owen.
This band was great. Shame they never took off. Same as Paper Rival, primairly indie rock with emo influences.
And to complete the indie rock/emo trifecta. Haunt Club is another band that deserves more attention. The "Incident" tracks are cool little sound collage interludes that actually don't feel like filler imo. Interesting stuff. Good ep.
